Sam joined SHW in April, 2021 as a Property Manager within the Private Rented Sector department (PRS) and manages a large portfolio of properties spread across the South of England.

Sam has a range of experience in residential PRS Property Management including the following;

• The day to day management of the portfolio, liaising with clients and tenants.

• Resolving tenant issues and disputes

• Supervising the re-letting of vacant units by utilising local agents, including the creation of all required tenancy documents.

• Regular property inspections to check the condition of the property and identify any issues or risks and report back to clients where necessary.

• Drawing up refurbishment specifications and either instructing these directly, or liaising with our Building Consultancy Division to ensure completion.

• Assisting clients to meet their legal and health & safety compliance requirements and also advising best practice.

• Overseeing rent collection and conducting rent reviews.

• Arranging required safety checks such as risk assessments, gas safety inspections and electrical inspections and instructing remedial work where required.

Sam qualified as a Member of ARLA in December, 2023
