Joanna gained both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Architecture in London. She has over 4 years of experiences working on wide range of national and international projects. She is a professional member of RIBA.
Project Experience
Her interests lie in the history and theory of architecture, specially the poetic and performatives aspects of architecture, and the spatial, experiential potential. When the opportunity arises, she likes to corporate with other architectural professionals or designers. She is experienced in planning and designing commercial and domestic spaces, focusing on sustainability, renewable energy, and reducing carbon emissions.
Competition winner for a brief and a proposal for the Hogsmill River run by Kingston council, team leader for sustainable straw bale and timber building in London, and Seeds of The Future – Cocoa Village project in Ghana. Dealt with the cross-cultural design essence of context drawings, through shared purpose expressed in building technology at the University of Venice. Participated in the Agenda Kempala Research intricate laboratory of ideas based on multiple social, political, and economical layers of desire Multicultural Production and peeling away layers figuratively and practically of design intension
