Henry joined the Professional team in May 2023 as a Graduate Surveyor having qualified from Kingston University with a First degree in Real Estate Management BSc (Hons).  Prior to this, Henry had 11 years property experience in residential estate agency handling the sale of over £200m in transactions.

Henry will be carrying out rating work both in London and the South East on a wide range of properties and clients, from individuals to those with investment portfolios, developers, retailers, automotive firms and charities.

Business rates management will include checking business rates bills for clients and ensuring any discounts/relief applicable have been applied, liaising with local authorities to ensure ratepayers bills are correct and subsequently ensuring bills are amended if inaccurate.

Business rates mitigation and appeals will involve a number of techniques to reduce the business rates liability for ratepayers, such as submitting appeals to contest a Rateable Value or taking steps to reduce liability when a property is empty.

Henry will also be completing his APC to include competencies such as lease advisory and agency.
