SHW’s Central London Office Agency team has been instructed to market the iconic Northern and Shell Building in the City of London. The building, also known as 10 Lower Thames Street, provides a generous staffed reception within a large atrium, creating real impact on arrival.

SHW’s Richard Williams says: “The landlord has worked hard to ensure the building meets modern occupational requirements. A smart coffee shop has been installed along with a gym, offering concessions to occupiers. The building has also now achieved an EPC rating of A, creating a green, renewable energy supplier to the building.”

Two office suites are currently being marketed - part ground floor, totalling 8,300 sq ft and part first floor comprising 11,600 sq ft.

Richard adds: “The part ground floor is fitted out to a high standard and provides a number of meeting rooms, open plan spaces and a large impressive breakout area. Whilst that provides plug and play simplicity it’s the views over the Thames that provide the real wow factor. If you like a landmark then this is the office for you!”

The part first floor is about to undergo a transformation. The landlord has agreed to undertake a full CAT A+ fitout of the floor which, once complete, will provide circa 100 desks, a meeting room suite, large kitchen breakout area and a range of collaboration spaces and phone booths.
