SHW does a good turn for Bears Wood Scouts

SHW’s South London office returned to Bears Wood Scout Camp Site in Croydon this month to help with site clearance as part of the organisation’s Woodland Management Programme.
The team’s Good Turn involved revitalising the entrance to the campsite and a spring clean of the main building. To do this, the group split into three teams to tackle to the jobs at hand, with a special mention going out to Jack Manton for making a big dent in the morning shift!
SHW’s Matt Morris says: “It was great to be back to help out at Bears Wood. It is very rewarding to return to see how your work from previous years has helped out the local community and we look forward to working with them again.”
