New Teaching and Sports Building

We were engaged by Farnham Heath End School to explore various options for expansion of their school to facilitate an additional form of entry.
We undertook a thorough review of the suitability and sufficiency of the site accommodation in order to develop a strategic masterplan. With funding from Surrey County Council, we designed a scheme to meet the requirements with the construction of a new teaching and sports building. The new facilities provide 8 teaching classrooms, a Learning Resource Centre and indoor sports hall of appropriate size, to meet the design standards for pupil numbers within the expansion programme.
The building is a steel framed structure of modern design incorporating low maintenance materials to create a high-quality and inspiring learning environment. The creation of this new building has enabled the school to reconfigure the existing teaching spaces into curriculum dedicated areas, improving the overall learning environment within the school.
