Anyone for Golf

After the very well presented SHW Staff Seminar and CPD opportunity, 12 SHW golfers took on the course that surrounds the hotel at the Coulsdon Manor venue, hoping to complete as many holes as the daylight allowed.
One group made it as far as the par three 11th, a 133 yard gem on the very enjoyable hilltop downland track which enjoys views across London to Wembley Stadium, the West End, The City and beyond. Selecting an eight iron, Investment Agent and Partner Martin Clark managed - only just - to clear the bunker which guards the front of the green, and the ball disappeared from view for those on the tee, but was on line for the flag.
On arrival at the green, there was no ball to be seen. Playing partners accountant Luke Brayne and building surveyor Jack Clapham checked the hole, where Martin’s ball was found, right at the bottom!
To celebrate the Hole-in-One, champagne flowed in the bar as the 12 golfers swapped tales of derring do and made plans for more SHW golf adventures.
