SHW Staff Cricket Game Round-Up

Once again, our annual SHW staff cricket match proved to be a great success. With a fantastic turnout with representation from all divisions, great fun was had by all.
Two teams battled it out to lift the trophy, but after a hard fought contest with some fantastic individual performances, Richard Pyne's team proved to strong for David Martin's team.
Following the game, all retired to the Victory Inn for food, drinks and prizegiving.
There were many memorable prize-winning moments for our umpire Paul Spruce to select, and after much deliberation, prizes were awarded to David Martin for his unique running between the wickets, Harry Adair for hitting the biggest 6 of the day and finally, the 'Champagne Moment' when Flaminia clean bowled David Martin in a very tidy spell of bowling!
The event also raised over £100 for SHWs chosen charities!
Thanks again to all those who attended and made it such an enjoyable event.
