At SHW we provide a Sustainability service to work with our clients to help reduce environmental impact, including understanding their carbon footprint across their assets, helping our clients to make strategic decisions based on carbon data reporting - a critical aspect of measuring and monitoring greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
Carbon data reporting includes:

Electricity: Achieving our goal of obtaining energy consumption data through a one-time authorization process. We have partnered with a well-known contractor to streamline and automate the data collection process. Making electricity consumption data collection an easy and less time-consuming process for both Landlord and Occupier.

Gas: We have assisted our sustainability clients in removing 95% of all Landlord Gas Meters with a set strategy continuing to remove any gas meters on units that are handed back at the end of occupation.

Water: We acknowledge that collecting water consumption is no easy feat! Working with our contractors and fine-tuning use of existing technologies to monitor water consumption across assets has allowed us to extend our data coverage to cover Scope 3 emissions for reporting.

Waste: By continuously working with occupiers to collect data on their own waste generated and raise awareness of waste reduction. We have optimised waste collections to reduce fuel costs and identified specific waste streams reach to zero waste to landfill.
