Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022

In light of the Grenfell Tower Inquiry Phase 1 report, new legislation will be introduced under article 24 of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. The Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 will come into effect on 23rd January 2023 and will apply to most buildings with 2 or more residential units.
A significant number of the new duties will be the responsibility of the Responsible Person (RP). The number of requirements will be dependent on the height of the building.
