Toilets are an essential and necessary part of a school. These are generally forgotten areas that receive a basic level of attention.
We have been involved in the refurbishment of numerous toilets within schools, using robust and low maintenance materials that assist in the implementation of simpler cleaning strategies and create a more hygienic facility.
We have introduced unisex toilets in several schools, which are open plan and more easily supervised, which addresses safeguarding issues and leads to a significant reduction in bad behaviour. Whilst it is not always possible to create unisex toilets, they have been received with great success. Students are embracing the concept and are of the view that their needs are being considered with schools investing in their welfare.
